Project Overview: Current

While I cannot provide explicit details on my current projects, I have listed below generally the ones I am really excited about working on and looking forward to the output.

Software Introduction Campaigns :

Create initiatives to introduce the AMANA XBRL software to prospective customers, effectively showcasing its myriad benefits and functionalities. Through targeted campaigns, facilitate a seamless transition for new customers, enhancing their acquaintance with software tools.

Training Development & Execution:

Develop and implement a comprehensive training program tailored for different stakeholder groups, including partners and new employees. These sessions are designed to foster an enriched understanding and adept usage of the AMANA XBRL tools, promoting a culture of proficiency and knowledge-sharing.

International Tender Projects:

Participation in international tenders pertaining to XBRL products. This entails coordinating document preparation and submissions, thus ensuring AMANA's strong presence and competitive edge in the international marketplace for XBRL products.

Software Enhancement & Collaboration:

Collaborate actively with the development team to identify potential areas of enhancement within the software. This project focuses on pinpointing and reporting software issues while fostering a hub of innovation where new ideas for product advancements are encouraged and cultivated.

These projects have a robust and dynamic approach towards enhancing user proficiency, securing international opportunities, and promoting continuous software innovation and improvement.

Project Overview: 2021-2022

During my tenure at Merck Business Services in Weiterstadt, I initiated a transformative approach to improve the contract management process. Recognizing the potential efficiencies in automating workflow processes and after a feedback survey, I worked on a project that utilized Microsoft tools, such as Power Automate, Microsoft List, Word, Power BI, and Adobe Sign, The focus was on streamlining contract management workflows and enhancing customer experience on the Global Business Services (GBS) and request process for a mass roll-out of around 1,000 Intra-Group contracts.

Role:

Spearheading efforts to redefine how contracts were managed within the GBS organization. My role also required me to facilitate cohesive collaborations between key stakeholders such as Group Tax, Financials, and Legal Entity representatives, especially during contract drafting amendments and dispute resolutions. Additionally, I managed KPI reporting to ensure strict adherence to contract compliance.

Challenges:

The primary challenges in this project were aligning different stakeholders with varied expectations and the intricate process of integrating and learning diverse tools to create a seamless workflow. Through diligent coordination and leveraging on available low-code tools like Powerautomate, we managed to streamline communication channels and ensured smooth integration of various tools.

The project marked a monumental success, significantly reducing the processing time by 40%. Furthermore, during the course of 2021, we achieved a remarkable 100% efficiency in the automation process. These improvements not only expedited contract management but also elevated the customer experience by providing more timely and streamlined services, thus marking a notable milestone in Merck Business Services' operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Project Overview: 2018-2020

From 2018 to 2020, we spearheaded a significant project in Zambia aiming to educate young children about the importance of recycling and the effects of trash on water bodies. The initiative involved collaboration with schools, community centers, and local environmental groups, mobilizing a strong volunteer force to create an impactful and enduring change.

Role:

As a co-initiator, my responsibilities encompassed strategic planning, assembling a diverse volunteer team, and coordinating with various stakeholders to conduct educational workshops and hands-on recycling projects.

Challenges:

Our main challenge was reaching remote communities and language barriers. We overcame these by collaborating with local community schools and creating educational materials in local languages, fostering trust and facilitating effective communication.

Achievements:

Our initiative successfully enlightened over 2,000 young kids across numerous Zambian communities, thereby contributing to a responsible and environmentally-conscious younger generation, ready to protect and sustain water bodies for the future.

Project Overview: Personal

While the previous projects illustrate my professional projects, I would like to share how my personal interests echo a similar theme, intertwining with my interest in both the natural world and innovative solutions. Gardening, a hobby that I pursue offers a platform where my technological inclination meets with nature.

Faced with the recurrent challenge of ensuring my beloved plants receive adequate care during my holiday absences, I embark on many personal projects that not only address this concern but also encourage my problem-solving and technology adaptation. Gardening nurtures my curiosity and spurs my interest in leveraging technology to foster a sustainable environment for my green companions.

I initiate small projects, where I work on automated irrigation systems, incorporating sensor technology to monitor the plant environment accurately. The main tool of these projects is an Arduino board, a tool that resonated with my affection for technology and simplified coding.

Additionally, my weekends are often occupied with smaller planter construction projects, where I indulge in creating diverse plant solutions that cater to the varied needs of different plant species. These ventures cater to my love for gardening but also improve my project management skills, planning, and execution process and help maintain a mental work-life balance.
